Privacy

The short version

Conditions has no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no tracking. We (Great Work LLC) do not receive any data from the app.

Your location

If you allow location access, Conditions reads your location while the app is open. It sends the coordinates to Apple Weather (WeatherKit) to get the forecast, and to Apple Maps to turn them into a city name. Both are Apple services covered by Apple's privacy policy. The location is never sent to us.

You can say no and add cities by name in Settings instead. City names you type are sent to Apple Maps to find them.

What stays on your device

Your saved cities, your Fahrenheit or Celsius choice and the last forecast for each city are stored on your iPhone or iPad so the app and its widgets open quickly. Deleting the app deletes them.

Ratings and email

The Rate button uses Apple's standard rating prompt. If you email us from the app or this site, we keep the email so we can answer it, and we delete it when you ask.

This website

conditionsapp.com counts page visits without cookies to see which pages people read. If you sign up for launch email, we keep your address only to tell you about Conditions, and we delete it when you ask.

Children

Conditions is not directed at children under 13 and collects no personal data from anyone.
